PJ

camper van kent

PJ was custom built to our client Anna’s requirements and finishes. This campervan was created with the main purpose of focusing on outdoor living. Anna is a top ultra-distance runner, avid triathlete, and life coach which entails a lot of traveling in the UK & in Europe to compete.

This van has ample room for storage of mountain bikes, water sports equipment, or anything your heart desires. It is set up to be entirely off-grid in any weather condition – for the full electrical setup see the breakdown below.

Regardless of the weather conditions, you will always be comfortable. In the winter you will be kept warm and cozy by the diesel heater (installed in a way to allow easy maintenance if needed) and in the summer nice and cool as this van is fully insulated in every nook and cranny to maintain inside temperature.

The kitchen has ample storage space, two extendable worktops, and two burners for cooking (easily upgraded to a gas oven if you so choose). There are two large cupboards plus additional storage underneath the worktop which can be accessed via the worktop or the cupboards. There are also three small drawers that make the perfect home for treats and snacks. Each cupboard door and drawer face are meticulously handmade from high-quality pallet wood and treated with a range of oils and waxes.

The sleeping area comprises a standard size double bed (a small double 4 by 6 foot can be built in to allow for more living area, this will be highlighted in our latest custom build), storage cupboards above, and a full-length bookshelf (which can be adapted to another storage cupboard on request). Underneath the bookshelf, warm LED lighting is provided for reading.

Two comfortable seats with your choice of fabric covering cleverly house a 10 L Truma hot water tank and a fully functional mixer shower with shower curtain for those who prefer some privacy. For dining, a pull-out table between the chairs is standard, plus a larger table can be provided and stored above the cab on request.

Underneath the van, you are provided with a 65 L freshwater tank and a 45 L grey wastewater tank.

TESTIMONIAL

‘Craig has literally created my dream campervan. Over the last 16 years I’ve imagined owning a campervan though the reality has utterly exceeded my expectations. I’m totally in love with PJ the Citroen Enterprize Relay H2L3 who has been expertly converted into my home, office and general adventure base. Craig was an absolute pleasure to work with throughout the entire project where he poured his energy, love and expertise into the conversion.

He graciously accommodated last minute requests to instal a seated hammock and navigated the lengthy delay of bespoke kitchen tiles which impacted the build. His high quality workmanship and attention to detail is simply phenomenal. If you’ve ever been slightly tempted to convert a van I’d thoroughly recommend Craig to make your dream van reality’
